Rydon is homebred, descending from one of our most successful dam lines. His dam, Cantarina v. Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve (premium, performance), also produced Ina, a 1.50m showjumper, and Kantarina, a 1.45m jumper. His granddam, Santa Caterina v. Heartbreaker (elite, premium), is the dam of the 1.60m horse Glock’s Zaranza. His great-granddam, Kassini v. Cassini I (premium, elite), was bred entirely Holstein under the influential sire Burggraaf. This dam line has produced numerous Grand Prix horses.
